The classic route covers the south and mid-park landmarks in one hour, at a pace that leaves time to get off and look around rather than just roll past. Up to three guests per pedicab.

The route runs from Central Park South up to Strawberry Fields and back. You get off at Bethesda Terrace for about ten minutes, at Bow Bridge for eight, at Strawberry Fields for five and at Cherry Hill for three. Between stops you pass Wollman Rink, the Zoo, the Carousel, the Dairy, Balto, Sheep Meadow, Conservatory Water, The Pond and Tavern on the Green while your driver talks through what you are looking at. If you want longer at one stop or a detour to a film location, say so — the route is yours to change.

The park’s central plaza, with the Angel of the Waters fountain and the tiled arcade underneath. About ten minutes — enough to walk down the stairs and back.

The cast-iron bridge across the Lake. An eight-minute stop — the classic shot is taken from the path on the west bank.
The Imagine mosaic, across the street from the Dakota where John Lennon lived. A five-minute stop.
The stone bridge over The Pond, with Midtown towers rising behind it. We pass it on the way back.
