The park’s skating rink with Midtown towers rising behind it. In winter it is full of skaters.

Bethesda Terrace
The terrace and the arcade, at the heart of the park. The fountain is fenced off for restoration until about late summer 2027.

The giant tree and the rink from the film’s big holiday finish.

The neon marquee is one of the most recognizable sights of holiday Midtown.

Wollman Rink is open for skating from October 28, 2026 to March 16, 2027. The Rockefeller Center tree is lit on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, and Fifth Avenue’s windows are dressed by late November. December dates for the Home Alone 2 pedicab ride go first.

Was Home Alone 2 filmed in Central Park?
Yes. Gapstow Bridge, Wollman Rink and Bethesda Terrace appear in the film, along with the Plaza Hotel next to the park. The ride covers all of them.
Where in Central Park was Home Alone 2 filmed?
At the south end of the park. The best-known spot is Gapstow Bridge over the Pond, near 62nd Street, with Wollman Rink just to the west and Bethesda Terrace further north. The Plaza Hotel, where Kevin stays, is right outside the park at Fifth Avenue and Central Park South.
Which bridge is the Home Alone 2 bridge?
Gapstow Bridge, the stone bridge over the Pond at the southeast corner of the park, where Kevin meets the Pigeon Lady. It is the first photo stop on our ride, about five minutes from the meeting point.

How long is the Home Alone 2 pedicab ride?
90 minutes, with five photo stops: Gapstow Bridge, Bethesda Terrace and Bow Bridge in the park, then the Plaza Hotel and Rockefeller Center on Fifth Avenue.
How much does it cost?
$70 per adult (13+) and $65 per child aged 3–12, plus a 6% online booking fee at checkout. Children under 3 ride free on an adult’s lap without taking a seat. On holiday dates (Nov 26–29, 2026 and Dec 1, 2026 – Jan 3, 2027) it is $84 per adult and $75 per child.
Do you go to Rockefeller Center and Radio City?
Yes. After the park, the ride goes down Fifth Avenue past the Plaza and St. Patrick’s Cathedral to Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall.
